Our client SAGE Community Services is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join their team in the role of Case Manager in their Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program.
This position provides support to women & children escaping domestic violence through intervention, case management and group work services. Working closely with clients who choose to stay in their home by assessing safety needs, seeking to improve social, health, economic and legal outcomes for families, reduce homelessness and promote accountability for offenders of violence.
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) case management, project management, networking and relationship building and influencing systems change.
SAGE is a community-based family support service for families in the Parramatta and Cumberland local government areas. The organisation has been delivering funded services since 1978, with the Department of Communities and Justice providing core funding for current programs.
SAGE provides an efficient, preventative service to families who seek support to improve their well-being. They address issues such as child development and behaviour, parenting strategies, strengthening parent / child relationships, social isolation and family violence. The centre provides a variety of services for families, including information, referral, community development, counselling, support services, home visits and group work.

The successful applicant will be a passionate woman with sound experience in case management and a proven ability to support women & children in crisis with complex needs. Your experience will also include networking, advocacy and you will have a good understanding of domestic violence.
