The role involves assisting National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants in exploring service options (mainstream, community, and provider-based) and managing their NDIS plans. Key responsibilities include helping participants navigate MyGov and the NDIS Portal, developing service agreements, negotiating services and pricing, and arranging assessments for required funding. The role will also work closely with Plan Managers and connect participants to mainstream services like housing, education, and health.
Additionally, the position focuses on building participants' capacity to manage their supports, understand their service agreements, prepare for plan reviews and explore housing and life transition options.
