Client Services Administration Project Officer

The Client Services Administration Project Officer will provide general administrative support to the Director Integrated Crisis Services whilst undertaking identified specified projects.

You must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated experience working in an administrative role with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing tasks and deliver to agreed timelines
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
  • Advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and database applications
  • Willingness to commit to the living expression of Safe Steps values; courageous, feminist, empowering, ethical respectful, collaborative, reflective
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check

Safe Steps is the only 24/7, family violence response centre in Victoria, providing a “state-wide entry point” for victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. Services include information and referral, crisis response, specialist family violence risk assessment, safety planning, Webchat, and access to supported crisis accommodation.
