Intro:

Welfare Recruitment Solutions have partnered with the YWCA to assist in the recruitment of a Homelessness Services Manager based in Surry Hills on a full time permanent basis although a 4day/week or 9 day/fortnight would also be considered.

The Role:

The newly created Homelessness Services Manager is responsible for managing the homelessness services program including ensuring best practice service provision and contract deliverables are met. This includes team leadership, partnership management, program reporting, budget management and ensuring improvement projects are implemented. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to deliver on the YWCA's YeS 2026 strategy.

The Successful Candidate:

In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Qualifications in social work, community services or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar community support service.
  • Demonstrated change management experience and ability to develop systems and processes.
  • Excellent understanding of homelessness services.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.

Further Info:

In return you will be offered a salary inline with level 7 of the SCHADS award ($115-120k) + Super + the salary packaging benefits of working with a NFP organisation. The role is working normal business hours, with some degree of flexibility and there is no on-call requirement.
