ABOUT YOUR ORGANISATION

Women's Health NSW (WHNSW) is the peak body representing the 22 NGO Women's Health Centres (WHCs) in NSW. WHNSW is proactive on priority issues relevant to women’s health, advocating for trauma informed models of care and improved health outcomes, policy, practice and legislation so that all women and girls can reach their potential within a gender and culturally safe, healthy environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is designed to maintain the administration systems and functions of WHNSW.

Your day will include:

  • Managing Criminal Record Check System and maintaining accreditation information system for monitoring policy and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for WHNSW Information Systems as well as performing general office duties
  • You will keep our Social Media pages up to date and will be involved in Events Management (e.g. sector training forums)

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have highly developed written and communication skills as well as prior high level administration experience and intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 Suite of Products.
  • It is important that you have a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask; your experience with Microsoft Access or similar database platform management would be well regarded.
  • You have demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team and can demonstrate your understanding of feminist principles and an understanding of women’s issues.
  • Experience working in community or not-for-profit organisations and or experience working in the Women’s Health Sector is desirable, as is experience in Event Management and Web Management.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

The Administration Officer role is Permanent Part time for 21 hours per week. We offer flexible work hours with days and times to be negotiated with the opportunity for hybrid work after a period of 6 months probation.

There are opportunities for ongoing training and professional development will be assessed on an annual basis. We are located close to public transport.
