Are you highly skilled in designing capacity building and health promotion initiatives to drive equity in health? Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) is seeking a Senior Capacity Building Officer to conceptualise, design and develop new programs that align to our strategic focus areas and respond to emerging opportunities for impact!
WHV is a statewide, feminist, not-for-profit leading the pursuit of gender equity in health. We work with government, the health sector and the community to create better health outcomes for women (cis and trans inclusive) and gender diverse people.
WHV delivers vital support services to the community and empowering health information. We share evidence and recommendations to challenge bias in the health system. We build capacity in the health sector to achieve equitable health outcomes.

In this new role, the Senior Capacity Building Officer will play a pivotal role in responding to new opportunities to design capacity building programs, initiatives and resources to drive gender transformative health systems. The role will ensure that new programs and health initiatives are grounded in evidence, incorporate best practices, and are targeted to address the changing needs of the target audience.
