About the opportunity

As the Coordinator Employment Services, you will offer supportive leadership to a compact team of employment mentors delivering the Jobs Victoria Employment Services program and manage escalated client issues and provide advice and guidance to employment staff.

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving milestones, reporting to funding bodies, and building and sustaining strong working relationships with employers and participants. Additionally, you will build strong working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders and liaise with employment mentors to secure suitable placements for clients from multicultural, refugee, or asylum seeker backgrounds.

About you

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• A qualification is Business, Marketing or related discipline (preferred)
• A current driver’s licence (essential)
• Demonstrated experience in supervision or a demonstrated understanding of the aspects of professional supervision
• Experience providing support, guidance and leadership resulting in high quality outcome.
• Previous experience in the delivery of Employment Services programs
• Experience in Community / Employer engagement and relationship management
• Demonstrated experience with dealing with complex individuals and situations.
• Experience working with multicultural and newly arrived communities.
