    Your new role

    You will be key in operationalising our volunteer strategy and helping shape the future of volunteering across Uniting.

    You will focus on resourcing, supporting, and developing volunteer opportunities across Uniting, working closely with stakeholders and local volunteer leaders to successfully manage and deliver high-engagement volunteering programs.

    You will advocate for and embed a contemporary approach to volunteering that challenges us to expand and develop our volunteer opportunities. You will also build a comprehensive model of training, development, and resources for our volunteer leaders.

    Your skills and experience

    You're known for your advocacy and passion for high-quality volunteer programs and have a track record in volunteer management in a large multisite organisation.

    You will also bring with you:

    • Significant experience in end-to-end program design, delivery, and evaluation, focusing on continuous quality improvement.
    • Proven ability to manage staff and lead volunteer program development, training, and resource management.
    • Strong track record in project management, delivering projects on time and within budget, with experience in implementing and establishing new programs.
    • Ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with senior stakeholders, balancing competing demands in a matrix management environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting, presentations, and facilitating sessions, with experience managing complex issues across organisational boundaries.
