Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services provide children with recreation-based activities with emphasis on social interaction and a sense of fun in a safe and secure environment. A range of activities are offered including art, sports, games, dramatic play, nature-based play, cooking and excursions.

Exciting opportunity exist for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Qualified Educators. The successful candidates will be responsible for contributing towards the delivery of quality care and education to children based on the National Quality Framework.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver high-quality OSHC programs that meet the individual needs and interests of the children.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community.

Our offer:

• Permanent full time or part time appointments (23 to 38 hours per week)
• Salary of $59,246 to $66,703.53 p.a. (pro-rata for part-time), depending on skills and experience, plus 11.5% superannuation.

• 10% above award wages with WCS Enterprise Agreement.

• Broken shift allowance (where applicable).
• Paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year.
• Salary packaging (up to $15,899 per year) plus meal and entertainment cards.
• 15 days paid personal leave per annum (pro rata) for full & part-time employees.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Enrolled and working towards a Diploma in Early childhood education and care or Certificate IV in School Aged Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
• Extensive skills, knowledge and experience in OSHC, including demonstrated use of the Early Years Learning Framework and the My Time Our Place Framework.
