We’re seeking our next Executive Director to lead and shape Women’s Circus.
Become part of an organisation and community with a three-decade long legacy of celebrating the power of social circus, fostering community collaboration, and empowering individuals of marginalised genders.
Join us in shaping culture and community through social circus!
Women’s Circus is a connected community that believes in the physical and imaginative potential of every body. We’re bold, dynamic, and leading the charge in intersectional feminist community arts through our year-round social circus program, socially engaged circus productions and sector engagement. We create positive, lasting impact for individuals and communities.
Women’s Circus values diversity, champions empowerment, and is committed to an inclusive work environment that supports those from marginalised genders to thrive. We strive to support the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of employees and acknowledge diversity of lived experiences as valuable to our organisation.
The Executive Director sets and communicates the long-term vision of Women’s Circus. The role oversees operations, financial management, fundraising, human resources, governance, and program development. With a focus on growth, the Executive Director maintains strong relationships with stakeholders and leads the development of new opportunities in alignment with purpose and values. The Executive Director’s role is flexible and has space to be shaped by the individual.
