Our Migration Lawyers provide high quality legal advice and representation for women on temporary visas who are experiencing family violence.
Due to the complexity of the legal issues that women on temporary visas experience, our Migration Lawyers provide legal assistance and work collaboratively with Women’s Legal other lawyers, social workers and financial counsellors as part of a wraparound casework, integrated model of service.
This is a full time or part time (minimum 4 days) position.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to manage an ongoing caseload. You will be able to provide high level legal advice and representation while being able to approach your work through a trauma informed lens.
A minimum of 2 years post admission experience in Migration Law is required for this role.
