ABOUT THE ROLE

As Chair of the Board of Directors, you provide strategic leadership and governance oversight to advance Iron Traks’ mission of empowering women through sport. Your role will involve guiding the board’s strategic direction, ensuring effective governance practices, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, fostering organisational development and championing the organisation’s mission and values. Working collaboratively with fellow directors and management you will guide the organisation’s sustainable growth while maintaining focus on Iron Trak’s purpose and impact in inspiring the next generation of women to believe in themselves and their potential.

ABOUT YOU

Do you have a passion for advancing gender equality and developing programs that empower women, particularly through sport and career pathways? Iron Traks is looking for someone with significant experience leading and managing a governing body to take Iron Traks to the next level in 2025 and beyond. With your strong advocacy skills and ability to develop strategic partnerships, you will help pave the way for Iron Traks to move from an early-stage organisation to a successful established organisation that improves outcomes for women in sport and in life.
