Supports the day to day activities of the World Vision Australia (WVA) Safeguarding team to ensure that WVA is a Child Safe organisation and fulfils its mission to protect the children and adults it serves.
This role assists WVA to effectively implement a range of initiatives relating to the implementation of the organisations Child and Adult Safeguarding Policy and Guidelines and works closely with the Manager, Child and Adult Safeguarding and other business stakeholders.
Ideal for someone who is committed to perusing a career in child and adult safeguarding in the international aid and development sector with on the job learning opportunities and the opportunity to work on a part time basis.
Part Time – 30 Hrs per week.
We are looking for someone with foundational knowledge and interest in child protection and safeguarding. You will be keen to learn, have excellent communication skills and able to engage and collaborate with many different stakeholders.
