THE ROLE

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and team focused Property Administration Officer to join our Crisis Accommodation Program based in the Northern suburbs.

The Property Administration Officer is accountable for the effective and efficient administration of properties at our accommodation sites, including coordination of property intakes, inspections, vacancy related processes, implementing lease agreements, and managing ongoing rental payments. The role is also be responsible for coordinating the purchase of supplies for office and accommodation facilities, and for provision of other administrative support for the site.

This position is initially being offered on a part-time working 49.5 hours per fortnight.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this position you will have significant experience in property administration and/or property coordination, and a sound understanding of tasks associated with property intakes such as lease coordination, rental payments and property inspections.

Other requirements include:

  • A qualification in Administration, Finance or related and / or experience commensurate with the position.
  • Ability to coordinate and physically assist with unit set ups and intakes.
  • Experience working with clients and building positive relationships with client groups.
  • Sound Administration skills, including competency in use of full MS suite of products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high empathy, and able to support clients of diverse backgrounds;
  • A current full drivers licence, and be eligible for, or hold a DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
