About the Role

The Procurement Manager oversees and manages procurement systems and processes to ensure organisational and business objectives are met, and to deliver value for money outcomes in the context of de-centralised procurement.

Key Accountabilities (Refer to the Position Description for full list of Key Accountabilities)

  • Partner with staff from across the organisation to provide high level advice and guidance to build expertise in procurement and governance, ensuring best practice and value for money outcomes.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations.
  • Review proposed and past supply arrangements to ensure value for money procurement outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience (Refer to Position Description for full list of Selection Criteria)

  • Highly proficient communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in procurement.
