About ANZRP

Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform is Australia’s largest and only not-for-profit Co-regulatory Arrangement operating under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS). We work for our Members (leading IT brand owners), not for profit, providing a lean and sustainable arrangement to meet their liability under the Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020.

The opportunity

Reporting to the National Communications & Engagement Manager, this role encompasses stakeholder engagement, production and distribution of communications, assistance with social media and marketing materials, and providing support in specific business development related tasks.

Working within a small team, you will coordinate and execute specific projects, with internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for the delivery of e-waste market awareness and new business initiatives aimed at federal, state and local government authorities, industry peak bodies, the business sector and wider community.

You will be responsible for:

  • preparing and collaborating with third party organisations to generate, schedule and publish innovative web site copy, social media content, blogs, and collateral to promote ANZRP, TechCollect and WeCollect to members, collection partners and followers.
  • conducting research, compiling lists and market data, performing analysis, identifying trends, tracking competitor activity and preparing and maintaining reports to guide and inform decision making.
  • coordinating business development opportunities including industry trade events, stakeholder targeted seminars and industry briefings. Prepare and present presentations relating to e-waste, circular economy and recycling of plastics.

This is a fast paced and changing environment in an industry aiming for sustainable positive community outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • relevant degree qualifications in marketing and communications, business or project management.

  • can effectively organise multiple tasks / assignments, sometimes of a complex nature or involving competing priorities, to produce work that is accurate, thorough and on time.

  • effectively identify, collect, organise, and document data and information in ways that make the information most useful for subsequent assessment, analysis, and investigation.

Experience

  • 3+ years of marketing, stakeholder engagement in a commercial setting.
  • knowledge in recycling / waste management or product stewardship highly desirable.
  • experience with relevant Microsoft Office programs and other business tools such as Photoshop and InDesign would be advantageous.
