About this Position

To deliver on the Beyond Blue 2023+ strategic goals, this role is responsible for implementing best-practice strategies and solutions for organisational capability, organisational development, organisational culture, continuous improvement and developing a high- performing organisation.

The role

The key duties of the role include:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Organisational Development strategy to engage, develop and retain our talent.
  • Lead the design and development of organisational development initiatives that strengthen leadership and management capability (including 360 feedback, leadership development, talent management, succession planning, annual performance processes, pulse surveys, engagement surveys).
  • Create opportunities for career development and facilitate career mobility (including learning and development, LinkedIn Learning, mentoring, career pathways, internal marketplace).
  • Lead the development of appropriate tools, communication strategies and surveys that support measuring culture and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture Business Partners on systemic needs to uplift organisational capability.
  • Responsible for monitoring the Learning and Development budget.

About you

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and Post Graduate qualifications - desirable
  • Significant experience in leading and developing organisational development strategies and initiatives across a medium sized organisation. 
  • Experience building workplace culture, strengthening potential talent, management, and leadership frameworks and tools.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, project management and change management experience.
  • Confidence, engage as values driven, perceptive, diplomatic, with well-developed coaching and facilitation skills.
  • Drive, look to make an immediate impact, be eager to build strong working relationships with junior staff members, to the senior leaders in the organisation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence key senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with relevant People and Culture systems is desirable (e.g. ELMO, Culture Amp, LinkedIn Learning, Articulate 360 eLearning)
