About the role

The Workforce Development Officer position is a paid internship, ideal for a student wanting to work in the renewable energy sector on a part-time basis, whilst having the flexibility to continue their studies.

You will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables program which is designed to enable, connect and champion women working in the renewable energy industry.

Specifically, the role will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the review of applications for the Women in Renewable scholarship programs
  • Assisting with the collation and formatting of information for publication on the Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables web portal
  • Providing secretariat support to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group
  • Undertaking general day to day administration duties to support the Workforce Development team.

This is a part-time, temporary position working 15.2 hours per fortnight for three (3) months. Salary for this role is $67.6K plus super, pro-rata.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is currently studying (undergraduate or masters) and has a keen interest in pursuing a career in the renewable energy sector. You will be a strong communicator, who:

  • Can work with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Be highly organised and enjoy working in a busy environment
  • Has an eye for detail and enjoys problem-solving
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
  • Previous administration experience is a bonus but not a requirement

All successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening that may include reference checks, qualification checks, background / police checks and Australian working entitlement checks.
