As our Human Resource Business Partner, you’ll be pivotal to connecting our HR strategy with our business goals. You’ll work hand-In-hand with our client portfolios to craft and implement initiatives that keep our employees engaged, our culture vibrant, and our operations running smoothly.

  • Strategic Partner: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Talent Magnet: Lead recruitment efforts, from crafting job descriptions to onboarding new team members, ensuring we attract and retain top talent in conjunction with recruitment.
  • Culture Champion: Drive employee engagement and inclusion initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and dynamic workplace.
  • Problem Solver: Address employee relations issues with sensitivity and fairness, always striving for win-win solutions.
  • Performance mentor: Oversee performance management processes, helping employees set goals in conjunction with managers, receive feedback, and grow their careers.
  • Data-Driven: Analyse HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations that drive informed decisions and improvements.
  • Compliance Expert: Ensure our HR practices are in line with labor laws and regulations, maintaining a safe and respectful workplace.
  • Project Leader: Spearhead HR projects like diversity and inclusion programs, training and development initiatives, and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders to provide expert advice on workforce planning, employee lifecycle, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, conflict resolution, and emerging HR areas.
  • Provide advice, coaching, feedback, and support to leaders, ensuring effective management of team performance and development needs.
  • Contribute to and develop/review HR strategies, policies, and procedures, aligning them with organisational objectives.
  • Support the resolution of conflicts between employees or between employees and manager/s to ensure resolutions that align with organisational values.
  • Ensure the quality, compliance and proper storage of HR documentation and maintain version control.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s degree) in a human resources management related discipline, including, behavioural psychology, business, social science or organisation development
  • Experience in a not for profit or human services sector Is desirable
  • Track record of contributing to the development and review of HR strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring they align with organisational objectives and industry best practices
  • Strong capability in providing advice, coaching, feedback, and support to leaders, resulting in effective team performance and development aligned with organisational values.
  • Experience resolving complex and diverse employee relations matters.
