About the Role
SisterWorks Inc. is looking for an associate-level Placement & Partnerships Coordinator to assist women from migrant backgrounds with employment support.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with employers to create sustainable employment opportunities and outcomes to place SisterWorks program Sisters.
- Provide one-on-one employment support for Sisters and connecting them to jobs.
- Work closely with the Employment Support team to pre-qualify suitable sisters and match them with our current employment partners, or new prospective partners.
- Provide ongoing support in all stages of job application, interviews, and onboarding.
- Provide structured post placement support in checking in with Sisters and employment partners regularly.
- Travel and attend networking events (within the metropolitan areas in Victoria).
- Organise appointments with sisters and employers and enter data accurately and efficiently into the CRM.
- Provide a weekly report to the Placement & Partnerships Manager.
- Other related tasks.
Key Selection Criteria
- 1-2 years of professional experience in HR, business development, sales, recruitment.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work closely with external and internal stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy; manage a pipeline (Excel), and record updates on our customer relationship database (CRM).
- Strong commercial acumen and emotional intelligence.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the experiences for women with a migrant, refugee and asylum-seeking asylum background living in an Australian context.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt style to suit the audience.
- Experience in meeting targets and deadline requirements with agility in a fast paced environment.
- Valid Victorian driving licence and access to a car and full working rights in Australia
Desirable experience and qualifications:
- Have been involved in volunteering, in particular within community services, supporting women from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
- Degree/diploma in in marketing, HR, sales or business development
