Two Good is a social enterprise which seeks to change the course of vulnerable womens’ lives. Through the creation of beautiful, high-quality food and products, we support, empower and employ women with lived experience of domestic violence, homelessness and complex trauma.

JOB STATEMENT

This is a hands-on role that directly supports Two Good’s social impact initiatives, focused on empowering women who have experienced trauma or crisis by helping them achieve meaningful employment outcomes. You will be actively involved in overseeing and assisting program participants, ensuring they stay motivated and on track toward their employment goals.

Your focus will be on engaging participants day-to-day and working alongside them as they navigate the program. Whilst your role is pivotal, you won’t do this alone. You’ll collaborate with line managers to track progress and provide practical support, helping participants build confidence and skills that lead to successful transitions into employment.

KEYS TO SUCCESS

Crucial to the success of this program, the Program Manager will help Two Good realise our social impact goals through effective leadership and management of core program activities, participant engagement, and stakeholder relationships

Organised & Detail-Oriented: Managing participants and reporting requires strong organisation. Staying ahead of deadlines and maintaining accurate records ensures smooth operations and compliance

Collaborative: Work closely with line managers, caseworkers, and external partners to achieve program milestones and impactful results through strong stakeholder relationships

Solution-Focused: Anticipate challenges and respond quickly with critical thinking to keep operations and participant progress on track. Proactive problem-solving drives long-term success

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Recruit participants for Two Good’s employment programs via existing referral channels
  • Onboard participants as employees into the program explaining boundaries, employee rights and contracts
  • Provide support for participants throughout their program, using tools like the Employee Assessment Tool (EAT), formal reviews and 1:1s occurring every 6 weeks
  • Liaise with line managers to support program participants
  • Facilitate a variety of program activities
  • Plan exit strategies and arrange industry placements, creating new employment pipelines for participants
  • Manage relationships with employment partners, setting up opportunities for graduates
  • Report to the Head of Programs using monthly templates and 1:1s
  • Foster Two Good’s culture by developing positive workplace relationships
  • Practice and model self-care for team and organisational well-being
  • Maintain professional boundaries while upholding trauma-informed practices
  • Oversee safety policies, procedures, and programs for improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders including community partners, external employers, and caseworkers

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a social enterprise or not-for-profit is an advantage
  • Proficient in client management systems (e.g., CSNet, Infoxchange)
  • Confident with general workplace technology (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace) and other relevant systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in trauma-informed care for supporting participants
  • Proven leadership with a focus on team growth and fostering a positive culture
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle program challenges
  • Skilled in managing projects, ensuring timely completion and achieving milestones as planned
  • Empathy & compassion to support participants while maintaining professional boundaries
