Women’s Health Matters is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of anyone who identifies as a woman in the ACT and surrounding region. We focus on advocating for women, especially those facing disadvantage and vulnerability. Our work centres on gender equity, particularly addressing the health impacts of gendered violence and systemic inequalities.
The Director Corporate and Business Development is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing the corporate functions of WHM and ensuring our long-term sustainability. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide operational leadership across human resources, financial management, and strategic communications. This role also focuses on driving funding growth, exploring new revenue streams, and ensuring organisational governance and compliance.
If you are passionate about making a tangible difference in women’s health and wellbeing and thrive in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment, we want to hear from you!
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in corporate or HR management, financial oversight, and governance. You are passionate about advocating for gender equity and empowering women in the community. Your financial acumen, leadership skills, and strategic thinking will be critical in driving WHM’s operational success and sustainability.
At WHM, you’ll join a diverse and passionate team dedicated to making a difference in the health and wellbeing of women in the ACT. We offer flexible working conditions, including work-from-home options, generous leave entitlements, and a commitment to work-life balance.
